Our very first drive, Pre Run, began at the old AGA site – a place rich in industrial history and Swedish ingenuity. It was here that Gustaf Dalén laid the foundation for AGA and won the Nobel Prize for his groundbreaking experiments with gases and light.

Around 50 air-cooled Porsches gathered here, ready for the first run of the CDC.

Each car proudly wore a specially made event sticker – and as everyone knows, that always adds a few extra horsepower.

Joined by guests from all over Denmark – and even neighbors from Sweden who came to take part in the event.

Is it just us, or have car colors never been better since Porsche turned the spray booth up to eleven?

A summer evening, a Porsche Targa, and nowhere you’d rather be

From AGA, we headed toward the circular parking house in Ørestad – which turned out to be a big hit, probably thanks to its fun spiral ramp.

From there, the convoy continued south, cruising through the narrow streets of Dragør. The town’s yellow houses, cobblestone lanes and views of the old harbour created the perfect contrast to the sound of fifty air-cooled engines rolling by.

We arrived a bit late, and the sun had already disappeared behind the city. Even so, the top of the round parking house had its own quiet magic.

The glow from Copenhagen, the hum of cooling engines and fifty silhouettes of air-cooled Porsches lined up against the evening sky.

From the parking house, we continued our evening run through Copenhagen. The city felt different at night — quieter, but with reflections from streetlights gliding across the cars.

We ended the night at the iconic Arne Jacobsen gas station in Skovshoved, where the day’s final tradition took place: choosing the Car of the Evening.

What a beginning — the perfect start to a new community.
