Over the years, Copenhagen Drive Club has visited Tom Gädtke — better known as Onassis — in Germany for several of his events. This time, it was his turn. With One Night Out, Tom brought his vision to Copenhagen, and together we helped make downtown CPH feel like home for Onassis and his community.

Fashion Week had barely wrapped up when a very different kind of show rolled into the Meatpacking District.

No runways, no designers — just engines, exhaust, and more than 80 Porsches filling the streets between old warehouses, neon signs, and packed bars.

The setting couldn’t have been better. Locals spilled out onto the sidewalks, bicycles leaned against brick walls, and the glow from nearby bars reflected off polished paint and worn bodywork alike.

Into this everyday chaos rolled a broad mix of cars from early, lightweight 911s to wide-bodied Turbos, ducktail Carreras, and a handful of modern machines lighting up the cobblestones with sharp LED signatures.

The sound filled the narrow streets, bouncing off brick walls and concrete facades, drowning out conversation and drawing attention from every corner of the district.

Soon after, the city itself became part of the event. The group moved off together, flowing through Copenhagen’s streets in a long, glowing line of headlights and taillights.

Downshifts cracked through intersections, storefront windows reflected passing silhouettes, and residents leaned out to catch a glimpse as the convoy rolled by.

Before the city fully gave way to night, the group gathered for a slow climb into the circular parking structure.

Cars lined up nose to tail, engines echoing as the spiral ramp pulled us upward, lap after lap.

From inside the cars, the sound changed with every turn — exhaust notes bouncing off concrete, gears clicking, engines breathing harder as the view gradually opened.

At the top, the city spread out beneath us. Copenhagen in transition, daylight fading, streetlights flickering on, and the last glow of evening reflecting off paint and glass.
